SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) occurs when the bacteria in your colon (the “good” bacteria) overgrow and end up in the small intestine. This causes a variety of GI symptoms, mainly bloating, gas, nausea, and constipation or diarrhea, but can also cause headaches, chronic fatigue and histamine intolerance.
Sarah obtained her CGN (Certified Gut Nutritionist) certification from The SIBO Academy, who are at the forefront of SIBO treatment and education. Her training helped her to create science-backed treatment plans for each of the 3 subtypes of SIBO. If you have co-occurring health conditions, please email sarah@themindfulrd.com before starting any protocol to determine whether adjustments in dosing should be made.
